Just because something is familiar doesn’t mean that it is right! Old ways have to die for new to spring forth.
Change doesn’t make an appointment. It doesn’t ask for permission yet it is inevitable. We know that freedom isn’t easy!
It was easier for God to institute 10 plaques, that led to Pharaoh letting His children go, than it was to get them to look ahead instead of behind? Rest assured sweet sister, your Heavenly Father, knows exactly what you are experiencing.
Yes, your plans were canceled. Yes, your old ways came to a stop. Yes, you have been confined. Yes, your life has changed. But, you are not a prisoner, the enemy of your soul is. Paul taught us to give God the greatest praise in the tightest space. The world works from the outside in. External events caused us to let go of the old way of doing things. God changes from the inside out.
You must trust your Heavenly Father with the future He controls! It’s your perfect lesson of letting go, letting God and letting Him love you through it. The One that holds the future in His hands, holds you too! He is bringing forth a new thing (Isaiah 43:19). We may not know the details of how things will play out but we know the One who does! He lives in the mystery, the unknown. Allow God to do what only He can do which is to take care of What is His (Isaiah 43:1).
He CAN be trusted. When we trust Him, we RISE. He WILL elevate us to a level that only He can establish. It is easy for God to change hearts. What’s hard is changing old habits after you leave the church.
Now that we realize that God allowed old patterns to be shattered, let’s burn the ships, cut the ties, send a flare into the night, say a prayer, turn the tide, dry our tears and wave goodbye!
STEP into the new way God is making! We can rise up from the dust and walk away! So light a match, leave the past, burn the ships And don’t you look back! Let us always be vigilant in finishing the race strong with Christ-like hearts, making whats important to Jesus important to us and remembering with confidence Jeremiah 29:11, “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. “
