Take a good look at the three words above: worthy, important, loved. Post them on your mirror, tattoo them on your arm, set this picture as your screen saver, write it in permanent marker on your forehead if that’s what it takes to remember these three words. Worthy, important and loved make up a huge part of your God given identity. Despite how you feel about yourself, or what you have gone through or done; worthy, important and loved are non-wavering truths about who you are.
God’s desire for you is to come back into full identity and relationship with Him.
All of us come from different cultures, experiences, and up-bringing’s. Some of us have always known that we are worthy, important, and loved in Jesus, and others of us have been told a very different narrative. The enemy would love nothing more than to rob you of knowing your spiritual DNA, and God’s desire for you is to come back into full identity and relationship with Him.
Despite brokenness
Any sisters out there thinking this…“But I’m so broken. If you only knew what I’ve done you wouldn’t see me as worthy, important, and for sure not loved. Maybe I started that way, but that’s not true for me now.” Friend, it is true for you now! It’s truer than any brokenness or valley that you have walked through, and Jesus tells us how to let the truth of our identity sink back into our spirit.
Renewing of your mind
Romans 12:2 says, “Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.” Spending time with the Father, reading Gods word, surrounding ourselves with truth-speakers, will begin to re-shape and re-navigate our spirit back to its purpose and design. You are worthy, you are important, you are loved.
